WRP Mouldings manufacture timber mouldings for the trade. We are looking to recruit and train a new group of apprentices who will become essential members of the team in the future. The role is full time, with time set aside for training towards a formal qualification (Wood Machinist Apprenticeship Level 2). No previous experience of woodwork is necessary, we are looking for the drive and commitment to learn a new skill.
This is physical work which requires strong problem solving and communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Over the 2-year apprenticeship you will complete the Wood Machinist Apprenticeship Level 2 qualification whilst learning on the job with our experienced staff.
Applicants will be given an initial phone interview then invited to spend a day at the factory where your attitude and suitability will be assessed. This of course also gives you the chance to see if WRP is the right place for you!

Hours
8:00 - 4:30 at the factory in Newport, Essex. Training will be delivered on site with remote learning alongside regular visits from the trainer.
Salary
Year 1 - £16,640. Year 2 salary dependent on age and progression.
Desirable qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4+/ C+)
- Maths (grade 4+/ C+)

We design and produce 100’s of products in a variety of timbers. Stock is stored on site and delivered to builders, architects and other trade customers.
